You Can Call Me Ms. October
My quilt, Ombré Lone Star, is the featured quilt for October. This quilt was photographed for my book, Zero Waste Quilting, at my parents’ place in the North Georgia Mountains.
Lone Star quilts are a perennial favorite for quilters. They are simple to put together using strip piecing, angled cuts, and y-seams. Lone Star quilts look great with a collection of 2 1/2” strips or scraps.
This quilt was made using leftover SKY Ombré fabric from my quilt, They Got Married, a dynamic Double Wedding Ring quilt, but instructions for creating it from new yardage is in the calendar.
