BLUEGRASS – FULL DAY

This class is for intermediate to advanced quilters. 

Experiment with color, y-seams, bias, furling pieces, and a little bit of improv piecing on the borders. This quilt is a large queen, but you can make it larger or smaller depending on the desired size you want. We will discuss how to size the quilt up, or down, in class.

THE BRIDE WORE PINK – FULL DAY

This class is for intermediate to advanced quilters.

Experiment with color, y-seams, bias, furling pieces, and a little bit of improv piecing and precise measuring. This quilt is a twin (ish) but you can make it larger or smaller depending on the desired size you want. I will provide templates BUT you can choose to make your hexagons larger or smaller.  We will discuss how to size the quilt up, or down, in class.

YES, MA’AM! – FULL DAY

This class is for confident beginners and beyond.

In this class you will learn how to make strip-pieced improv fabric without a foundation, cut and piece your improv fabric into Half-Square Triangles and arrange the pieces to make your quilt. You will learn how to accurately piece the Half-Square Triangles into squares, accurately measure  inner borders and how to insert a block into the border.

ROAD TO TEXAS – FULL DAY

this class is great for confident beginners and beyond.

In this class you will learn how to make strip-pieced improv fabric without a foundation, cut and piece your improv fabric into Quarter-Square Triangles and arrange the pieces to make your quilt. You will learn how to accurately piece Quarter-Square Triangles, how to attach sashings and cornerstones and how make and attach a strip pieced border set at an angle.

NOT JULIA’S QUILT – FULL DAY

This class is not for beginners. Intermediate and advanced quilters only. this quilt is made entirely with bias edges and y-seams.

Learn how to accurately piece template cut pieces into stunning stars. You will learn to sew with diamonds and y-seams, furling seams, and how to attach bias binding on concave and convex angles.
