Someone’s in the Kitchen with MaMa

Little Mister and I do a lot of baking; I’m fairly certain I’ve mentioned that before. It’s a great afternoon activity, keeps him from watching too much tv and we end up with a yummy treat in the house. I haven’t decided what he likes best – dumping ingredients into the mixer, cracking the eggs or licking the beater.

We made the always classic Nestle Tollhouse Chocolate Chip cookies. I added an extra egg since half of an egg was sacrificed on the counter, and I used unsalted butter. Holy cow! The cookies are light and delicious! I think I have a new twist on my baked goods. Hey! Paula Deen suggests using an extra egg and I think she’s onto something.

Sadly, the cookies didn’t last long. Guess we’ll make some more tomorrow.
